Serrana Laure Gay (she/her) was germinated in New Mexico, grown in New York City, & is currently planted in San Francisco. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Sinister Wisdom, the North Dakota Quarterly, X-R-A-Y Literary Magazine, Silver Rose Magazine, and elsewhere. Her plays have been workshopped and appeared at Joe’s Pub at the Public Theatre, and the New York International Fringe Festival, among others. She holds an M.F.A from Sarah Lawrence College, and teaches writing remotely and in person. 

She teaches in person in San Francisco, and online at the Sarah Lawrence College Writing Institute & Gotham Writers’ Workshop. She holds a BFA from Ithaca College and an MFA in Writing from Sarah Lawrence College.
